Frios reopens in Tallassee

(File photo) The owner of Frios in Tallassee, Troy Stubbs, announced that the location has reopened. The new hours are Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12-7 p.m. The Tallassee Frios is the first of it's kind with a drive through.

Owner Troy Stubbs announced the Tallassee location of Frios is now open on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. after closing for the winter.

While the Tallassee Frios wasn’t the first location Stubbs opened, it has a unique drive-thru window.

Frios Gourmet Pops are made in Gadsden. The fruits used to make a wide variety of fruit- or dairy-based treats come from local farms in Alabama and the dairy products come from Working Cows Dairy in Dothan. The popsicle chain uses only organic sugar cane and not refined sugar.
