THS Spring Show set Sunday, Monday

The Tallassee High School Music Department will take the stage for its final performance of the school year in the Spring Show Sunday and Monday.

Songs to be performed include “Jailhouse Rock” by Elvis Presley, “Lean on Me” by Bill Withers, “Save the World/Don’t You Worry Child” by Pentatonix, “Bless the Broken Road” and “Life is a Highway” by Rascal Flatts, “Daddy Sang Bass” by Johnny Cash, “Come Alive” from The Greatest Showman, “Your Song” by Elton John, “Somebody to Love” by Queen and several songs from “Guys And Dolls,” according to THS music teacher Michael Bird.

Bird said more than 200 students will participate in the show featuring every student in the choral department at Tallassee High School.

Two performances are scheduled at the THS auditorium — Sunday at 2 p.m. and Monday at 7 p.m.
