The entire AHSAA staff has been hard at work coming up with contingency plans for what high school sports will look like in Alabama moving forward in wake of the coronavirus pandemic. While there is still a bit of waiting game, officials are getting closer to making some set plans.

The AHSAA Central Board approved new alignments for spring sports during the 2021 and 2022 seasons and several county teams will be competing with some new opponents to extend their seasons.

Sports fanatics are going to have to wait at least a while longer for the return of high school sports in Alabama.
