The National Weather Service issued a level two out of five severe weather risks for Tallapoosa County, Coosa County and a majority of Elmore County.
The threat time is from 5 p.m. Thursday to 1 a.m. Friday.
This risk level includes possible damaging winds with gusts up to 60 mph and large hail.
