As a teen, I remember hearing a story, perhaps in some Dale Carnegie book, about a pair of youngsters who thought they could earn some extra spending money. They tallied up all of their chores and little tasks they had done around the house and outdoors, figured out how much time they spent on these, calculated the monetary value of their work, determined the minimum wage, and left a note for their mother before leaving for school with the bill for their labor.
Students' faces lit up with glee yesterday as they walked into the new Reeltown Elementary School.
Teachers and faculty greeted the public as they arrived.
Tallapoosa County Schools Superintendent Ray Porter cut the ribbon to officially open the new school on Tuesday, noting the day as historic.
Parents and students had shocked expressions as they entered the school for the first time.

The classrooms have substantial upgrades in the form of modernized architecture and technology.
Students rushed toward to school's entrance as the tour began, anxious to explore the new school.
