It’s a well-established fact that people in the South absolutely love sports and that is especially true at Auburn University.

In an incredibly positive development, the Auburn Tigers didn’t lose a football game this past weekend. Of course, they didn’t play a football game either. I used to dread off weeks during the season because no Auburn football equaled no fun. The Tigers’ two bye weeks this year have been like an oasis in the middle of a desert.

We are now only a little more than three weeks away from Auburn taking on Alabama A&M in Jordan Hare Stadium to begin the college football season. The Tigers will don the pads this week during practice and begin to get a little more physical. Hugh Freeze inherited an Auburn roster ranked ninth in the SEC in overall talent (including Texas & Oklahoma) according to 247 Sports.
