On Wednesday, April 9, at approximately 9:14 a.m., Special Agents assigned to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) responded to the Alabama State House in Montgomery in response to suspicious letters which were addressed to members of the Alabama House of Representatives. Each individual letter included a number of pornographic images.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) is honored to receive and be selected as the 2024 Investigative Partner of the Year by Homeland Security Investigations’ (HSI) Atlanta Field Office, which is responsible for federal law enforcement in both Alabama and Georgia.

On Thursday, Dec. 5, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Fusion Center (AFC) received a law enforcement bulletin concerning an AMBER Alert for three missing children issued by the Virginia State Police and the Virginia Missing Children Clearinghouse.
