Selma police have launched an investigation after a murder took place on Friday, April 25.
Selma police identified the victim as Da Quand Hall, 23. Police received a call about a shooting in the area of Church Street and Minter Avenue that night where they found Hall with a fatal gunshot wound.
Hall's murder was the sixth for Selma this year.
