Funeral Service for Mr. Hairm Davidson, Jr., 76, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Mr. Kevin Moon will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Davidson, Jr. passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Clay County Hospital. He was born on April 1, 1946 in Clay County, Alabama to Hairm Davidson and Mittis Parson Davidson. Mr. Davidson worked on the railroad his entire life. He enjoyed fishing, especially basket fishing for catfish. He also enjoyed making Brunswick stew and watching Auburn football. He loved country music and enjoyed listening to his nephew, Kevin Moon sing. He was a great man and loved his family dearly.
He is survived by his son, Mark Davidson (Sherri) of Alexander City; daughters, Cindy Halfmann (Mike) of Lineville and Danela Faye Wolfe of Benson, NC; ren, Kevin Kass, Matthew Dunn, James Suggs, Bryan Suggs, Will Suggs, Austin Halfmann, Saydee Halfmann, Alexis Halfmann, Rusty Coleman, Steven Wolfe; fifteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; sisters, Katrina Campbell (Gerald) of Lineville and Polly Roberts (Terry) of Alexander City; and brothers, Donald Davidson of Alexander City and Roger Davidson (Bobbie) of Alexander City.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 45 years, Gloria Jean Rhodes Davidson; brother, Bill Davidson; and nephew, Shannon Moon.
