Dirty Digs
How many of you have been hit by the credit/debit card scam in this area? A bunch.
Won’t it be interesting to find out how or why this big mess hit this little town? Maybe the state and/or the feds will be able to determine that. They’re the experts. Hopefully.
If you haven’t been hit yet, don’t gloat. It ain’t over.

What’s the biggest story in the world right now … ISIS or Ebola? They’re both very big and very dangerous. I hope we can figure out how to eradicate both of them before they get out of hand.
A note to our government leaders: Talking about these problems is not going to eradicate them.

A British man visiting his mother went into the spare bedroom to get some sleep and found the bed covered with over 5,000 wasps. A window in the room had been left open, allowing the swarm to move in and build a three-foot-wide nest that engulfed the bed.
The pest control man they called said that the pillows and mattress had been chewed to pieces. He said “it was like the horror film The Birds but worse.”
Good thing the son cut the light on when he went into the bedroom. That could have been very unpleasant.

With the controversy over the nickname of the NFL Washington Redskins, a study of all 42,624 high school, college and pro teams showed that 2,129 have Native American names, including “Savages,” Squaws,” and 75 teams called “Redskins.”
If you do away with one, where do you stop?

Only in New York: A new Brooklyn eating place called Exo is selling high-protein snack bars made from ground-up crickets, touting “the nutritional and enviromental benefits of consuming insects.”
Wonder if they also have a roasted roach burger?
Ummmm.
