A Tallassee police officer sustained minor injuries in a single vehicle crash as storms passed through the area Thursday evening.
“We had an officer involved in a single vehicle accident,” Tallassee police chief Todd Buce said. “He hydroplaned and left the roadway.”
The officer was transported to Community Hospital in Tallassee.
“He’s alert and responsive.”
The incident remains under investigation.
