The National Weather Service has issued a level two out of five severe weather threats for all Central Alabama this Saturday afternoon and evening.
The primary threat is damaging winds with up to 60 mph gusts. Similarly, Friday afternoon and evening have a severe weather threat level one for possible damaging winds across Tallapoosa, Coosa and Elmore counties.Â
The NWS advises having multiple ways to receive weather alerts, have access to a sturdy structure and check for updates. Â
