An 18-year-old from Selma was killed in a shooting that took place on Sunday morning.
The victim has been identified as Anthony Marsh, 18. He was killed on the 2500 block of Summerfield Road at around 2:39 a.m.
Police Lt. Ray Blanks said the incident stems from an apparent altercation at a residence, which led to shots being fired, and the victim being fatally injured.
A female shooting victim was taken to Montgomery's Baptist South to a hospital for treatment and is listed in stable condition.
Two people were detained for questioning but police are continuing to investigate the incident.
