A countywide 36-hour drug operation by an Elmore County Sheriff’s Office task force resulted in the arrests of 13 individuals on drug-related and other charges, according to Elmore County Sheriff Bill Franklin.
In the operation, Linsey Totty, 26, of Tallassee, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
“This is an ongoing operation,” Franklin said Sunday. “Several others will also be picked up on drug-related charges.”
Those arrested so far during the operation include:
- George Belser, 54, of Millbrook, was charged with two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance. Belser’s bond $20,000;
- Jerome Benson, 57, of Eclectic, was charged with three counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance. Benson’s bond is $30,000.
- Cory Brown, 25, of Eclectic, was charged with one count of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and a probation violation;
- Holly Clark, 37, of Wetumpka, was charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance;
- William Fisher, 21, of Montgomery, was charged with one count of distribution of a controlled substance. His bond is $10,000;
- James Foulk, 33, of Wetumpka, was charged with two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and one count of possession of marijuana in the first degree and possession of drug paraphernalia. Foulk’s bond is $20,000;
- Julius Jackson, 37, of Wallsboro, was charged with perjury, theft of property and two counts of failure to appear;
- Gregory Jones, 36, of Prattville was charged with one count of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance. His bond is $10,000;
- Peter Knox, 51, of Eclectic, was charged with one count of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance. Knox’s bond is $10,000;
- William Mann, 33, of Wetumpka, is wanted for obstruction of government operations and his bond is $1,000;
- Kendrick Phelps, 18, of Elmore, was charged with possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Phelps’ bond is $5,000.
- Antonio Reese, 24, of Elmore was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Reese’s bond is $5,000; and
- Linsey Totty, 26, Tallassee, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
